The Hospital is a purpose-built non-acute hospital built to meet the need in New Territories East for assessment, rehabilitation and extended care for the elderly and the chronically ill in various specialties such as medicine, geriatrics, orthopaedics, chest, palliative care, psychiatry and infirmary services.

Serco Group (HK) Limited is contracted to provide Support Services to Tai Po Hospital. The service is designed to focus on how resources can be allocated to produce the desined quality outcome. Service Level Agreement tracks performance against agreed benchmarks. Service improvement and productivity increment form an integral part of the service. Serco Group (HK) Limited hopes to provide more services should opportunity arises. Currently, we have 40 staff working onsite.

Tasks

Serco Group (HK) Limited provides Domestic and Transportation services, including:

• Portering of patients
• Transportation of medical supplies, blood & specimen, rubbish,
  document, medical records, medicine, gas cylinder, equipment,
  etc.
• Cleaning of medical wards (including psychiatric wards / geriatric wards) hospital offices, common areas and project cleansing.
